Japanese Maple has great autumn colours The leaves change from the green spring growth to red, orange and yellow shades in autumn
The tree will perform best if there is part shade and some wind protection from any drying strong winds which can burn the leaves.
Keep the roots moist and cool in summer by adding mulch around the base of the tree. Likes a well drained even soil.
Will grow to 4m wide and up to 6m tall or can be used in Bonzai plantings.
