This is simply done by creating a username and password (and email) which you can use to logon to the members area of the website. The will allow you to create your own personalised gardening resource and to participate in the gardening community here at the GardenZone.

The tools available for use today are a system where you can create and manage a set of website addresses (known as bookmarks). This resource, as you build it, up will represent your own personal gardening interests. These are then shared with other members who have similar interests. The system works by when there are two members with the same bookmark you will see the other members bookmarks, so it can be described as a 'like mind' suggestion system.

The second web gardening tool which is available to members is the Tomato Expert System. This tool enables you to diagnose tomato pest and disease problems for both plant and fruit.

More tools are planned for the near future including the ability to new add plants to the plant database and to create a gardening journal where you can record and plan activities for your garden. A Frequently Asked Question Section is about to be added. This will consist of quick tips and suggestions for a variety of gardening problems typically experienced with hydroponics, plant propagation, gardening and any other areas of interests shared by our gardening members.
