What's New at TheGardenZone!
Become a member and enjoy what is an expanding range of collaborative tools available to the GardenZone community.

The aim of the GardenZone is to be an open gardening community where you can share your gardening experiences with others and to learn from the wisdom of other gardeners.

The GardenZone also aims to provide you with 'Online Tools' that enable you to develop an online gardening resource tailored to your personal preferences.

In line with this aim today we are launching out 'Bookmark Tool'. A bookmark is the web address of your favorite gardening web sites.
With this toll you can:
  • Store your bookmarks online with us!
  • See what other users use!
  • Share your favorite links with others!
The second 'Online Tool' is an:
  • An Expert System for solving tomato plant growth and pest and disease disorders.
  • And don't forget the plant database

Currently under development are a hydroponics application where you can store your hydroponic recipes and system information and then access them online as required. If in you preferences for your account you make your recipes a publicly available item then you can swap recipes and obtain new recipes for different hydroponic crops.

Also planned for development is a resource where you can store records of the plants you have propagated for your garden. Detailing such records as the number, propagation conditions and method used and the success of the batch. This will then be developed further to include potting dates and planting dates in a garden. Enabling you to keep a track of your gardening endeavours and so share these with other gardeners. These tools will be added to in the near future. Click here to join. This membership is free for a three month period and then can be continued for NZ$10.00 only.
